José Gonzalez is President and Founder of GLC Real Estate, leading development and advisory work across Florida’s transit-oriented, residential, and commercial markets. He spent 18 years at Florida East Coast Industries as Executive Vice President of Business Development, driving the regulatory strategy behind the Brightline rail system and more than 20 million square feet of Class A development. Earlier in his career, he led major South Florida projects at Codina Group and began in zoning and environmental review with Miami-Dade County. José holds a B.A. in Political Science from FIU.

María Liévano Cruz is Vice President of GLC Real Estate, leading entitlement, coordination, and government strategy for the firm’s mixed-use and workforce housing developments across South Florida. She spent 14 years at Florida East Coast Industries as Vice President of Corporate Development, negotiating public-private partnerships for Brightline’s Transit Oriented Communities, including the Aventura Station agreement with Miami-Dade County. She previously served over a decade in Miami-Dade County government, rising to Chief of Staff for the County Commission Chairperson. María holds a J.D. from New England Law | Boston, a B.A. from FIU, and is a member of the Florida Bar.

Patty Reyes is Executive Assistant and Office Manager of GLC Real Estate, providing high-level administrative support to the President and Vice President and overseeing the firm’s daily office operations. She spent 12 years at Florida East Coast Industries as Executive Assistant and Human Resources Assistant, serving as a key point of contact for employees, clients, and partners while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR functions. She previously co-founded and served as President of Abuc Boutique, a women’s clothing boutique in Coral Gables, and began her career as an EA at Codina Group. Patty studied Business Administration at Miami-Dade College.
